Creating/Updating the Location for an Extension

The general customer location is always needed, but if a customer's location is under 2,500 sq. ft, the specific device location is not necessary (for example: Floor 1, West Wing, etc.)

1. To create a new location:
 
a. On the UniVoxx portal side menu, click Advanced and then Locations

b. Click the Add Location button in the top right corner of the page

c. Enter the address and click the Verify & Save button once finished

2. To assign a location to an extension:
 
a. Access the 'Extensions' page.

a. Either click the extension number or the Edit Extension button to open the extension

b. Click the location icon.

c. Below are the options for configuring the location on a device.

d. Choose the primary location in the Select Device Location dropdown. Granular settings about the location can be set below. There is a dropdown menu with a lot of options for describing the location.
