Desk Phone Troubleshooting
How to troubleshoot various issues with desk phones
If your phone is experiencing any of the below issues, follow these steps.
- Unable to dial out, page, or transfer
- Phone shows 'No Account' status
- Phone is not powering on
- Calls are dropping/cutting out
1) Reboot the phone. Unplug the power and ethernet cable from the back. Make sure the device is not powered on after. Plug all the cables back into their original place.
2) If the phone is not powering on after this, check that the ethernet cable is connected to the 'LAN Port'. If a computer is connected to the phone, that cable connects to the 'PC Port'.
3) If all the connections are correct and the phone still isn't powering on, try plugging the phone into a spot where another, working, desk phone is.
