Number Forwarding Configuration

The Number Forwarding page is used to create number entrees that we don’t own. These can then be forwarded from numbers that we own.

 

1) Navigate to the ‘Forwarded Numbers’ from the ‘Call Routes’ sub menu.

 

 

2) Listed below are the available options on this page.

 

1 - Edit an existing forwarding number.

 

2 - Delete an existing forwarding number.

 

1) At the top of the Forwarding Numbers page, you can fill these two fields to create a number entree. This will be used for routing.

 

 

2) Select the ‘Plus’ button to add the entree.

 

3) Navigate to the ‘Numbers’ section of the portal.

 

 

4) Select the ‘edit’ button on the number you want forwarded.

 

 

5) Select the forward number entree that you created earlier.

 

 

6) Select ‘Update Number’.

 

1) Navigate to the 'Forwarded Numbers' section of the portal.

 

2) Select the ‘Edit’ button on the forwarded number entree.

 

3) Edit one of two fields.

 

 

3) Select ‘Update’.

 

1) Configure the requested number as a forwarding number. See the section ‘Creating a New Forwarded Number & Routing’.

 

2) Navigate to the most important extensions. In the extension settings, turn on offline forwarding and set the forwarding number.
